My art is inspired by being outside and enjoying the natural world.

I studied Zoology at Cambridge, before doing a PGCE specialising in Arts at the Institute of Education in London. This was followed by a Masters in Museums and Galleries, and a PhD in Biodiversity. I have studied an Illustration course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and I am currently doing Graphic Design. These studies have influenced my work- for example the Biodiversity maps you can see in the Nature Gallery.

Having worked in the Natural History Museum (such as  planning childrens interpretation of the Images of Nature Gallery), Science Museum, as an Education Manager on a boat and in schools I am now Outreach Manager at the Royal Veterinary College in King's Cross.

I teach Art Anatomy classes there on Monday evenings. I also jointly run the Nancy Rothwell Art Prize for young people for the RVC, with the Royal Society of Biology.

I am currently focussing on illustrating Swimming, Cycling and Running, having recently done various triathlons! You can see influences of sport, travel and biodiversity in my artwork and I hope you enjoy looking at the galleries!
